Part of the team is on holidays this week. The rest of us focused on:

• Continue with the process of extracting changes from our integration branch into PRs targetting main after the 11.1 release:

  • From last week: Peras 27 and Peras 28 were approved and are waiting for the 11.1 release to be merged.

  • New PRs:

    • Peras 29: Remove O.C.Committee.AcrossEpochs helpers (approved, waiting for 11.1 release)

    • Peras 30: Tweak generic voting committee interface and implementations (approved, waiting for 11.1 release)

    • Peras 31: Define Peras base types in separate module (approved, waiting for 11.1 release)

    • Peras 32: Define Peras IsPerasVote and IsPerasCert type classes (approved, waiting for 11.1 release)

    • Peras 33: Extract Peras vote and cert conversion type classes (approved, waiting for 11.1 release)

    • Peras 34: Introduce mocked Peras votes, certs, and crypto scheme (under review)

    • Peras 35: Tweak PerasBLSCrypto and add several instances (approved, waiting for 11.1 release)

    • Peras 36: Tweak V1 PerasVote and PerasCert (under review)

    • Peras 37: Add Peras error type class and types (under review)

• Continued working on the Peras testnet, which now includes the latest changes from our integration branch. We are currently deciding how to tacke some unforeseen issues. In particular, we are currently deciding how to orchestrate a manual transition from the Conway era to Dijkstra at startup.

• Continued iterating on the logistics of the next part of the project (making Peras mainnet-ready), focused on understanding missing requirements and defining suitable milestones.
