This week we continued working from a couple of fronts:

We are re-exploring the interaction between Peras and the HardFork Combinator. We found some friction points on our current plumbing that could be avoided by implementing proper HFC dispatch. We are currently evaluating the tradeoffs of this change.

We started filling up some gaps in the node’s initial configuration where Peras was previously being enabled or disabled unconditionally, when in reality this should happen on a per-era basis.

The Peras testnet is now built upon a relatively recent version of the Cardano node (based on the 11.1 release candidate branch), allowing the incremental integration of the latest Peras changes in the upcoming weeks.
