Part of the team was off this week, but we still have a couple of updates:

Continued working on Peras 20, adding property tests to assert that voters that are entitled to vote in an election can cast votes that are successfully verifiable under the same conditions (using mocked-up crypto).

Continued working on Peras 22, defining a concrete implementation of Peras certificates and votes using BLS-based cryptography.

Started a redesign of the committee selection interface to better account for vote forging and certificate aggregation. We aim to integrate these changes directly into Peras 18 and Peras 20 before the consensus team has another chance to review them.

Started integrating the ObjectDiffusion mini protocol changes that were recently merged in
ouroboros-networkintoouroboros-consensus.
