Weekly Report: 2026-01-23

  • Started working on a model implementation of the committee selection scheme, which will be used later on as an oracle for conformance testing of the real implementation.

  • Continued working on a path to instantiate BlockSupportsPeras for the Hard Fork Combinator. For this, we gathered early feedback from the Consensus team regarding the best approach to take, depending, among other things, on the future requirements that Peras votes and certificates might end up having.

  • Continued working on the math behind some of the metrics in the Peras parameterization dashboard, after meeting with IO researchers to clarify the evaluation approach taken by some of their papers.
