Ouroboros Peras

Weekly Report: 2026-02-13

  • Finished the first revision of the PR with the machinery needed to extract the latest round number of a Peras certificate stored on chain.

  • Finished the first revision of the model implementation for the committee selection scheme.

  • Continued addressing feedback from the Consensus team on Peras 14 and Peras 15.

  • Started rebasing open PRs on top of ouroboros-consensus/main to avoid getting stuck behind Peras 4 for too long while we wait for further feedback. This includes extracting the Object Diffusion API into a separate PR.

  • Continued working on the math behind some of the metrics in the Peras parameterization dashboard.
