Ouroboros Peras

Weekly Report: 2025-11-28

  • Delivered the third public demo, slides

  • Merged Peras #4 after a final round of reviews and small fixes.

  • Opened and merged Peras #6, including some changes to the ChainDB state machine tests that improve the chances of observing the chain selection algorithm switching to a shorter chain.

  • Opened Peras #7 to integrate the ability of using feature flags in the consensus node kernel.

  • Migrated all the remaining commits from the peras-staging branch on ouroboros-consensus into semi-independent PRs targeting main.

  • Implemented the first iteration of the PerasVoteDB, needed to store and aggregate votes into certificates.

  • Continued working developing different metrics for the Peras dashboard.
