Ouroboros Peras

Weekly Report: 2025-10-17

  • Finished an initial draft of the inbound vote decision logic: PR #1698, which now needs to be tested and benchmarked.

  • Started to work on adding Peras certificates to block bodies: issue #141

    We will synchronize with the Ledger team on this, and also keep the Leios team in the loop as they also need to include certificates in block bodies.

  • Mob review of PR #1678 with the IOG Consensus team, to be continued next week

  • Implemented recording of certificate arrival times, which is necessary for the refined voting rule: PR #1703

  • Held an internal session discussing the details of cooldown periods, and how the voting/forging rules are designed to guarantee them.
