Conformance Testing of Consensus

Completed milestone 2.

  • Implemented shrinkview tool Node fork PR #17.
  • Added support for --shrink-index and --minimal-test-output flags to the test runner executable Node fork PR #16.
  • Amended design document to include the needed transition from TestBlock infrastructure to real Cardano blocks and added new shrinking case PR #70
  • Discussed the location of the tool suite among the cardano packages with the Consensus team. Development will continue on the cardano-node repository until details on creating a stable API to the testing infrastructure are sorted out after holidays.
  • Proposed new interactive mode for the shrinkview to explore the shrinking tree Node fork PR #18.
  • Started the infrastructure change to move away from TestBlocks on Consensus fork PR #19 and Consensus fork PR # 20.
